At regular intervals an optician comes on a voluntary basis and has the opportunity to test peoples' eyesight.
After contacting the pastors in rural villages, the optician examines these needy people. In most cases a pair
of spectacles for reading are given for free or if necessary the patients are sent to an oculist, with whom the
Jonas Society is working together.
